Lich Gate Concerts presents its September concert on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 4 pm. 

Artistic Director Jorge Ávila has curated a wonderful program featuring works for String Quintet from the Classical and Late Romantic periods, including LUIGI BOCCHERINI’s String Quintet in B-flat Major, Op. 39, No. 1 and ANTONÍN DVOŘÁK’s String Quintet in G Major, Op. 77.

Additionally, smaller works by American composers COLERIDGE-TAYLOR PERKINSON (Movement for String Trio) and CAROLINE SHAW (two movements from “Plan and Elevation” for String Quartet) are programmed, as well as the Serenade in D major, Op. 8 for String Trio by LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN.
